    Pros

    Flexi Time
    Good support
    No boss OTG

    Cons

    Work 24/7
A company full of politics where HR advises business how to create politics in the team
No one in the company has the courage to be honest, everyone just sucks up
You are not valued for your skills but who you can please and keep happy

    Advice to Management

Dont pretend to be what you are not. Be old fashioned and bring values back.

I worked at Cisco Systems full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

I had enjoyed working with Cisco and the teams. It was rewarding journey from learning and career perspective. I liked the company in many aspects: great culture, transparent communications from executives, ethical, collaborative and inclusive working environment and superb talents community. If you show good potential, are passionate to take bigger responsibility and take initiative to advance career, I have found management is always willing to provide mentoring and coaching and development opportunities. I also felt proud about the fact that the company put lots of efforts in social responsibility.

    Cons

I generally worked long hours and sometimes stayed up late to get connected with team from other countries. Headquarter centric, there were moments that regional team needed to fight for decision making.

I have been working at Cisco Systems as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Good environment, the colleges are all very nice and professional. The company is very big so you can get helps from a lot of peoples. And also many resources to look into

    Cons

The company is quite large , so it takes many admin staff when you are about to do or work. That slows down the process and drag you down.

    Advice to Management

More flexiable working flow would definetly increase the profit and the employee's willing to work better and accerlarate the circle.

I have been working at Cisco Systems full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Work location Flexibility, Mobile working, trusts employees, lot of internal training resources, good use of technology, cool factor,

    Cons

big company syndrome creeping in.. lot of incompetence being hired and promoted in some pockets... more focus on the how rather than the what (means more important than end) unfortunately

    Advice to Management

need to get a pulse of reality, management is creating more and more layers and people up are increasingly distant from reality
