    I worked at Citi full-time

    Pros

Fund accountant role gives decent exposure to the market. Since things are not set up too well, it is easy to move up if you prove yourself.

    Cons

The infrastructure is poorly set up. The company itself doesn't put much money into it either because it is just a side business for a global company that doesn't focus on financial services.

    Advice to Management

If I could give any advice to the management, it would be that they ought to focus their business on a couple of areas rather than spreading themselves out too thin.

I worked at Citi full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Large corporation
    Good compensation
    Structure workflow

    Cons

Unfair judgement on work perfermance. Basically base on what your manager gives you and if he is determine to kick you he will get it done.
My manager was very unprofessional as was swearing at me during close doors for doing things for a customer.
Manager took all the credit for work done by his his co-worker.

    Advice to Management

How come one manager in same position as the other has more things to do and the other doesn't.
Need better managerment training for managers to teach them how to train

    Pros

Citi has a great work/ life balance with a flexible work schedule. There is a young and fun corporate culture.

    Cons

Compensation is very poor. Promotions are given without salary increases. Decisions made are from so many levels above that they don't make practical sense when applied. The company is full of overpaid managers that do very little to contribute to the bottom line while the first three levels of positions are considered expendable.

    Advice to Management

Get rid of the entire level of section managers. They do nothing except waste company resources. Pay the employees that you know are good at what they do what they deserve so 10% of your office doesn't quit in a three month period.

    Pros

The people are great, but it's the 'other' people you should try to avoid (the people who take credit for the work that you do and make you do work that they're supposed to do)

    Cons

The managers will refuse to check your work and the staff end up doing all of the checking.

    Advice to Management

Communicate with your staff and stop taking all of the credit for our work!

    Pros

The Columbus location is conveniently located and aesthetically pleasing. All coworkers are generally nice and are willing individuals. The dining area has reasonably priced and tasty food.

    Cons

Incompetent coworkers and managers. Lack of proper training. It's really sad when you start working somewhere and you realized that your mangers are totally clueless. They really need to invest in managers who know their stuff.

    Advice to Management

    Train your employees.
