    Pros

fast pace work environment. If I had more nice things to say about working at Citi trends then I would definitely put it down

    Cons

The managers and employees here are lazy and enjoys drama. They let their family and friends steal. Plus everyone likes to think they're the manager.

    Advice to Management

Quit before you end up in prison for theft. You speak a lot about the Lord and you allow all this drama to happen in this store. Grow up and hire some responsible adults who actually want to work. And hang up your phone so you can do your job.

    Pros

Employees got 20% off on certain days. Which wasn't much but it helped a little.

    Cons

The pay was awful. I got hardly any hours, and they want you to work extra hard for little pay. Just image working super hard and your check is only 180 for two weeks worth of work.

    Advice to Management

Show a little more sympathy for your employees. And do more work just because your a manager doesn't mean be lazy.

    Pros

You can move up pretty quickly depending on how much work you're willing to put in. If you have a good GM and District Manager, you will probably really enjoy your job.

    Cons

Your budget hours will never cover needed hours. You will most likely have to deal with some rude customers (that's retail everywhere though) Managers seem to leave the company frequently, probably due to horrible salaries. You'll be under payed and overworked.

    Advice to Management

Make sure you are using all your budgeted hours. Don't depend on a significant raise.

    Pros

Great room for growth, friendly staff, and managers that love to teach. I came in already having experience in retail so it was easy for me.

    Cons

Has the ability to become very crowded during holidays

    Advice to Management

Only thing I would like managers to fix is trying to avoid background checks taking so long to come back in.
