I worked at Citibank full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

A great brand, great international presence

    Cons

Compliance, compliance, and then compliance. They should be called Business Prevention Department.

    Advice to Management

Stop hiring human robots to work in Compliance. Only people with sales and development experience should work in compliance because they understand what it takes to generate business and won't be rejecting new clients because they simply don't understand what is going on.

I worked at Citibank full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

They have benefits on the first day, pay is reasonable for the job ($13/hr), the Roy, UT facility is decent, paid time off is good too.

    Cons

Schedules, training in office takes too long before you can work at home, training room was too crowded, conflicting information for new employees, stress, and constantly micro-managed by logging in and out of system and IM from managers and others. Co-workers so close that I have to plug my ear just to hear what the customer is saying on my headset. Not mindful enough of those that are disabled.

    Advice to Management

Change the way things are being micro-managed, help people work at home sooner, be more considerate to those with disabilities. That's the reason I left, I have a disability and instead of getting help, I was openly made fun of.

    Advice to Management

Remove some of the matrix/overlapping management structure.
