    Pros

I wasn’t there long, but I think there was great opportunity for moving up in the company. I woman who started at the same time as me stuck around and was soon promoted to an assistant branch manager position in just over a year. I believe professionalism is rewarded.

    Cons

I worked at a grocery store location that has since closed. I wish I hadn’t accepted the position and instead held out for an offer in a full branch. Hours were awful. I would have loved “banker hours” as they say at the regular branch. The branch was incredibly small and although I got along with my coworkers it was tight quarters and any little issues could easily cause great complication.

    Advice to Management

Grocery branches are awful for employees, but as a costumer I prefer branches that keep late hours once a week. Seems like a win-win.

I have been working at Citizens Bank full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Pay is good (especially for being right out of college), hours, benefits are pretty good, most of the colleges are nice and approachable, give a good amount of training. Have them pay for your series 6, 63, and life/health exam

    Cons

Sales pressure is overly apparent, nearly every day someone gives you pressure on your sales goals even though in the interview with the regional manager, she stated that they weren't that bad.

They are more about sales than building relationships with people which make you, on occasion, come off as a snake oil salesman. Nothing you do is good enough for your branch manager or regional manager, even if you tried everything. And the Regional management team acts as if the goals and sales are super easy or overly attainable

    Advice to Management

Give far more attainable sales goals
