    Pros

    Flexibility in hours and mobility

    Cons

    100% commission, not as secure

    Advice to Management

More time to establish oneself. instead of 3 months, 6 months would be better since the system is vastly icon driven and difficult to learn in only 3 months.

    Pros

The people in the credit risk group are smart, professional, and great to work with. Everyone is very committed to their job.

    Cons

Technology is poor and prevents employees from being as productive as they could be. Senior management is very concerned about short term growth which prevents investments that would pay off down the road.

    Advice to Management

Invest in technology and your employees to encourage retention.

    Pros

A Great place to work at! The Benefits are good. The employees are great. The company is going in the right direction.

    Cons

Word to the wise cover your butt in Wilmington, Delaware
The bank needs to concentrate on what it wants to be know for. Bank Micro-Manages so if you are uncomfortable with that then I don't suggest you work here. Especially in Delaware!

    Advice to Management

Pay closer attention to your employees! They are on the front line and are subject abuse from management.

    Pros

9-5 working hours in practice. You can Work from home on occasion. My boss is pretty fun to work for.

    Cons

IT is the worst in any firm I've ever worked in. There is also no orientation program, so it's you're pretty much on your own from day one. Bonuses are not given to anyone the first year, regardless of when you start (e.g. if you start in January, your first bonus will be awarded after 27 months).

    Advice to Management

Invest in IT, more than the current level. A lot more.

I worked at Citizens Bank full-time

    Pros

Stable company, consumer finance area very focused on growth, potential to work remotely, solid benefits and pay.

    Cons

There are a lot of long-tenured employees who are set in their ways and unwilling to perform functions outside of their day-to-day; company portrays an image of technological strength and nimbleness, but this is a bank after all.

    Advice to Management

Reshuffling the 'lifers' out of their comfort zone would give those people an opportunity to grow and gain a broader perspective on how the bank can be successful.
