    Pros

    Salary and benefits weren't bad

    Cons

Crooked management, need to butt kiss management to get anywhere, no one lets you know about any back history about projects, throw you in and is expected to know everything about a project you have never seen and was just told you were on literally 5 mins earlier. You are setup to fail. Many laid off but bring in cheaper help with no clue.

    Advice to Management

Keep people with knowledge, train, restructure management.

I have been working at Citizens Bank full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

9-5 working hours in practice. You can Work from home on occasion. My boss is pretty fun to work for.

    Cons

IT is the worst in any firm I've ever worked in. There is also no orientation program, so it's you're pretty much on your own from day one. Bonuses are not given to anyone the first year, regardless of when you start (e.g. if you start in January, your first bonus will be awarded after 27 months).

    Advice to Management

Invest in IT, more than the current level. A lot more.

I have been working at Citizens Bank full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The office is small and the people are very engaging.

    Cons

Technology is not as current as my last place of employment and it takes a bit too long to get access to systems.

I have been working at Citizens Bank full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

They promote within and there always room to grow into other positions/roles. The existing colleagues are always extremely helpful and resourceful.

    Cons

They're trying to be like bigger banks, where they're all about numbers and are somewhat losing their personal touch with employees.

    Advice to Management

Value the middle and top performers

I worked at Citizens Bank full-time

    Pros

Stable company, consumer finance area very focused on growth, potential to work remotely, solid benefits and pay.

    Cons

There are a lot of long-tenured employees who are set in their ways and unwilling to perform functions outside of their day-to-day; company portrays an image of technological strength and nimbleness, but this is a bank after all.

    Advice to Management

Reshuffling the 'lifers' out of their comfort zone would give those people an opportunity to grow and gain a broader perspective on how the bank can be successful.

I have been working at Citizens Bank full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Easy to bonus, bank hours and holidays which is great. It's a good stepping stone but not much other than that.

    Cons

Hard to use PTO how you want, forced to only take weeks at a time not cooperative whatsoever. Manager will turn their back on you if needed to benefit themselves. Poor compensation, asked for a raise and got majorly disrespected, when you put in your two weeks they act like they care but don't offer anything to try and keep you. Poor poor management and incredibly high turn over rate. I've been at my location for 2 years and have seen at least 10 people come and go.

    Advice to Management

Need to screen better for employees and crack down on managers. Need to have better compensation for people who are sticking it out with the company trying to stay.
