Pros
The free parking is a perk and the free catered daily lunch.
Cons
The turnover rate is ridiculous. They outsourced much of their work to save money, laying off whatever employees necessary. In the time that I have worked there they did two mass lay offs, eliminating two whole departments including ours. I understand businesses make decisions quickly and don't always choose the popular opinion; however the tasteless way in which they let us go was disgusting. There was no respect as they did it. They are cheap and have no loyalty and are willing to do anything to save a dollar whether it’s at the expense of their employees or their clients. No wonder why they have the reviews that they do online. As far as senior management goes, they are all friends from back in the day and do NOT choose the most qualified people for the position. Most of the managers there have no idea how to manage people and have never done it before. They don’t believe in hiring from the outside, but rather always promoting within which is fine unless the people you are being forced to promote don’t have the experience or knowledge to do the job correctly. There is no training for these people or background matches, but again as long as they can save a dollar promoting within they are happy. The training is also very poor. It is one day and they don't care if everyone is on the same page or not nor does upper management understand the daily tasks each department does causing chaos when a supervisor or manager decides to leave. They try to make the perks sound great "we give 10 holidays." What they don't tell you is they give you ten holidays UNLESS there happens to be a snow day. The company doesn't believe in snow days (cheap) and if you physically can't make it to work after a snow storm they cut the next scheduled holiday you would normally have off and force you to work it. They make you clock out for “bathroom” breaks so they can monitor and track every single thing you do in a day. Employees are treated like children. No one is protected; they will let anyone go at anytime to save money. One of the girls I got laid off with had been with the company five years and they didn’t even flinch when letting her go. Lastly, the pay is terrible. They pay the same whether you have a college degree or not.
