    Pros

People are just wonderful and caring to work for.

    Cons

    So many positions are temporary

    Advice to Management

Keep up the personal personnel management techniques. They work.

    Pros

Small Community Bank, Lot's of room to grow if you do your job!

    Cons

To many to list! Get updated technology. It will make everyone much more efficient.

    Advice to Management

Promote the right people based on their skills. Stop playing the favorite card. You have loyal employees that are leaving after 20 plus years. Wonder why?

    Positive Outlook

I worked at Citizens Financial Services part-time

    Pros

The people are great. They really do want to help the customer.

    Cons

Sometimes people disagree with how to do different things and people clash heads, however I'm unsure if this is a true con since it allows other workers who are less experienced to see multiple sides.

    Advice to Management

Perhaps allow for more mobility within the company.

    Neutral Outlook

I worked at Citizens Financial Services full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Hours, holidays, PTO, and benefits are great.

    Cons

Trying to generate new business is difficult because every other bank has the exact same products.
Many other close branches competing for crumbs. Only a small percentage of BM,s make commissions. Tellers constantly asking customers to cross sell is a tough group to manage.

    Advice to Management

Branch Managers should be able to lure business customers with some ammo. A expense account to wine and dine prospective customers would go along way. Other industries allow their salesman to take customers out. Branch Managers are essentially Sales Managers.

I have been working at Citizens Financial Services full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great coworkers and non stressful environment.

    Cons

This bank does not know how to keep up with the big banks or maybe is not interested in being aggresive and well recognized by the entire community. The big banks are getting the mortgage leads because they recognize which shark employees to keep and which ones should be let go of.

    Advice to Management

Try to hire productive, competitive personnel that has a need to suceed. Most of management is sitting in their offices instead of getting business referrals. You can't teach an old dog new tricks, no matter how much you try!

    Pros

Hours in a traditional branch are a plus.

    Cons

Compensation for work done seems to be non-existent. During recruitment, management and recruiters are dis-honest about the pay.
