    Pros

    Great Atmosphere
Lots of Opportunity in most departments

    Cons

Too many managers who have no idea about the field they are managing.

    Advice to Management

Hire Managers from inside the company who know the area they are going to manage. Too many non tech managers in a tech industry position.

I worked at Citrix full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Free snacks and coffee. Free sodas. Free bagels on Wednesday. Free lunch once a month. No dress code. Pretty flexible approving time off. Some of the management staff are nice.

    Cons

What makes this job miserable is the huge amount of incoming calls. the calls are non stop. You feel like a prisoner trapped in your cubicle. No time to meet and socialize with peers.
They are always changing the software even if it works fine and every time they update the software, it just brings in a bunch of calls.
Your expected be on the phones 85% of the time. And they expect you to answer emails. Not nearly enough time to do both.

    Advice to Management

My advice is to quit constantly changing the software. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Every change causes more problems. And wake up and realize that most of your level 1 reps are miserable and unhappy with their positions. Definitely way underpaid for the amount of calls that they take.

    Pros

Ability to work from home. I'm able to balance personal and professional life. Great medical benefits, tuition reimbursement, the people at Citrix are friendly and nice to work with.

    Cons

There are sometimes few advancement opportunities, and there are a lot of deserving and qualified individuals. Despite this, I personally feel this is a good company to work for.

    Advice to Management

When new products or features are launched, there should be a training process that is always parallel to the launch dates.
