    Pros

nice salary, free breakfast, good product. potential to be really great in everything

    Cons

a lot of people get fired all the time. You dont feel safe. management dont know how to be a manager. still stuck in the 80ties on everything from environment to managing. energy is missing in the environment.

    Advice to Management

hire managers that actually knows how to get a team to work together. stop micromanaging. Time to wake up we are not in 1980 any more.

I worked at Citrix full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    Local management care
    Great opportunity to learn
    Great team in Dublin
    Free breakfast/soda
    Friendly office atmosphere
    Ability to work from home
    Work/life balance generally good

    Cons

Very shareholder driven upper management directions - particularly with the presence of activist investor groups
Organisational actual values are pretty much polar opposite of stated ones
Senior management within support organisation are focusing on the wrong metrics IMO
Nowhere to go technically after escalation in Dublin
I could be wrong, but if felt like Dublin may not be around forever with cheaper sites in the EU
    A lot of redundancies

    Advice to Management

The constant threat of redundancies cause people who can get work elsewhere to go looking. You're left with those who are overly comfortable, can't find another job or in the minority of cases, are loyal to the company.

Pick a direction, communicate it clearly and early, pivot, and restore confidence among staff. Then rebuild with a strong, core team and go forward.
If the plan is to get bought, then disregard this.

    - Team performance is very metric-based

    Advice to Management

    Pros

Citrix in Dublin is a great company to work for. They give flexibility to work anywhere at anytime. Good staff vibe and loads of opportunities to grow your career.

    Cons

Waiting for the building to be done up. We have received communication that this will happen this year.

    Advice to Management

Make sure we have a games room once the building revamp is completed. As Dublin grows ensure all teams across differant functions stay connected.

I have been working at Citrix full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great colleagues, great managers, salary could be better but overall benefits very good. Building in need of renovation but that has been promised. The work is very interesting, and although KPIs are measured and reported, not too heavily. Flexible working / working from home a real perk!

    Cons

The only real downside is the building - running out of space and showers need upgrading.

    Advice to Management

Sort the showers and bike racks
