    Retirement program, free continued education/training programs offered by the city

    Cons

    Chaos, disorganized, no cohesivenes, communication, or camaraderie amongst departments. -A lot of work unnecessarily duplicated.

    Advice to Management

    Trust that your employees will make the right decisions. You hired them based on their skill. Stop micro managing.

    Once the new interim city attorney took over, everything went south.

    Don't change the status quo. If it works, don't try to change it for publicity's sake.

    Pros

    Great job to work at if you love children, great hours if you are a student in college

    Cons

    Pays near the bare minimum at $8.50 an hour, lousy office politics with certain area managers and senior group leaders having their favorite employees, no room for advancement, upper management is so caught up with facing lawsuits that it makes the job more of a chore than it has to be

    Advice to Management

    How about instead of worrying about lawsuits you instead work to make the kids and employees happy?

    Benefits, lots of job openings constantly, unsupported management!!

    Cons

    There is employee harassment is on going, and if reported, the personnel at the Human Resource department will not do anything to protect the employee, so the harassment continues,and supervisors are untruthful to their staff or committee monthly reports. Lots buddy businesses in growth or evaluation

    Advice to Management

    Be truthful to your employees and hear both side of stories before taking any management decisions. Be practical to do the best to the people whom we serve

    Teaching children is one of the most important activities in which a person can participate. The school day is over so students have the opportunity to available toys, books, art materials as well as complete any assigned homework they wish to begin.

    Sometimes locations are inconvenient or facilities lacking in well cared for equipment.
