    Pros

Interesting city history, people can be nice. Centrally located, light rail just opened up nearby. Free parking if you drive.

    Cons

Power tripping managers, toxic environment. Pay is not good. If you are looking for a job where you just clock in and out and can't bring your own creativity, this is for you.

I worked at City of Aurora, Colorado full-time

    Pros

The pearls were the ability to go upstairs to the wonderful City Cafe and eat all the delicious Greek food assisting customers with all their needs and assisting those that were in need

    Cons

Management applauded racism in the workplace discrimination in the workplace thought against their employees when it came to raises or transferring to other departments forewarned new hires about certain employees badmouth their employees but look to those same employees for assistance because they didn't know what they were doing 90% of the time management handles customers like they were 2nd to 3rd class citizens and never really cared for the need of the people punished those that did and applauded those that could care less about the city of Aurora Water customers

    Advice to Management

Fire everyone in management and get other people in there that have a heart that have communication skills and can carry their positions more serious than gossiping about certain employees it's a disgrace that the people that are still in management still practice these very same rules and get paid top-dollar to do so

    No opinion of CEO

    Pros

I have a job and it sort of pays the bills. And I need 20 words so here are some more words.

    Cons

Upper management lacks experience and industry knowledge. Questionable decisions are made regularly and will eventually lead to epic failure. Favoritism at its finest for promotions (hence the lack of experience and knowledge at the top).

    Advice to Management

Take some responsibility for your decisions and your employees. Believe in your employees who have more industry knowledge than you, every organization is different and must be run differently. You have to truly understand your population, know what your real goals and values are, and tie your decisions to those things. Stop the favoritism.

    Advice to job applicants: RUN!
