I worked at City of Boca Raton (More than a year)
Pros
the beaches are so pristine (clean) and the water is turquoise
few people come to these beaches in comparison with other south florida beaches
my bosses and coworkers were all loving people who genuinely were passionate about our ecosystems and contributing to the world
Cons
the pay wasn't very high so we needed to get second jobs
Advice to Management
higher wages, especially because the 10 hour days were very exhausting physically
I worked at City of Boca Raton full-time
Pros
Good hours, Plenty of time off, easy work
Cons
Favoritism, extremely poor management at the lower level, hostile environment, high stress (from harassment by superiors), only the toxic ppl survive, competence nor professionalism matters in promotion, disrespectful bosses, mental instability is rampant amongst peers, high drama, if you're not friends with management you'll be miserable.
Advice to Management
Reward competence, treat your people fairly and stop setting up the good ones because you feel threatened.

Pros
Yes, it "LOOKS" like Disney, but Disney is a fantasy land...
Cons
Highly political environment. Reality is not relevant - Hearsay is golden and highly rewarded.
Mentally unstable management.
Employees are yelled at, orders are barked to you, overall employees are treated like garbage.
Advice to Management
Get rid of the "nut jobs" that run this place and do away with "Drop". It is sad to say, but employees in drop have reached the point where they don't care about what happens in the City. They are just killing time.
