    Good Benefits - Great hours

    Cons

    Bad management - Doesn't give any opportunity for upper mobility.

    Advice to Management

    Instead of hiding the problems, fix them. Upper management does not care for sexual harassment from male supervisors.

    Good benefits. It was a job.

    Nickel and dime you on overtime. Abandons employees out sick.

    Advice to Management

    Care just as much about those who keep the city going as you do your customers. Remember we're residents and customers of the city too.

    Pros

    Great benefits, very casual work culture. Decent pay

    Cons

    In my department (Public Works and Engineering) too many unprofessional employees. Customer Service standards need much improvement. Initial Processing of application, HR contact & job offer is a lengthy process. So patience is required.

    Advice to Management

    Continued education for management would improve their Ability to manage
    more efficiently. In my opinion, I found there to be a great deal of complacency.

    Very laid back environment overall.

    Cons

    Pay sucks, and the older employees are lazy and stuck in their ways.

    Advice to Management

    Make the older workers retire and let the younger people run things.
