    get to meet new people that shop there and see all the kids and babys

    Cons

    management is horrible they treat you like your nothing and they are not clean with anything they do honestly ,working there for 4 months was the worst thing i did , ill never tell a friend or family member to ever ever work there

    Pros

    Getting to experience a kids first ear piercing!! I genuinely miss this part.

    And my co-workers

    And my returning customers

    Cons

    The company it's self. Work alone most of the time for long shifts. Understaffed so you share employees with other stores which seems nice but no one wants to take shifts. And you are forced to work a full shift of no one else comes in even if you have rashes on your face or pink eye. The training in nonexistent and you have to take a 30-45min test to be even a part time manager at $9.25hr for like 12hrs of work.

    Please don't work for this company.

    A lot of this 5 star ratings are done by DMs and SMS they recruit to do it to fix the star ratting. My DM told me.

    The kids were great. Ear piercing was fun. Fun environment before behind the scenes drama begins

    Cons

    Everything is drama. The district manager is trash. Managers are crazy and trash. Employees over worked just to meet a stupid sales goal.

    Advice to Management

    RE DO EVERYTHING.

    Pros

    Pro if you like working in a catty environment.
    Pro if you're thick-skinned enough to all the passive-aggressive behavior that goes on.
    Pro if you're willing to relive the shallowness of high school.

    Cons

    There's really nothing nice to say about this company. I've been working here for over a year, and it still amazes me on how bad everything else.

    HR is a joke. They might be good at enticing candidates into accepting jobs, but in terms of laying out the package deal, benefits, compensation and expectations, they absolutely suck. Nothing they promised is actually every going to happen.

    Turn over is extremely high. I think that alone speaks volumes on what current employees - both old and new - feel about the company.

    Upper management chooses to have a blind eye on what's actually going on. Growth is slow, and no one believes in growth and development -- that's why the company ends up hiring externally because even if they've claimed to be firm believers in internal growth, they've never actually done anything to encourage or foster growth.

    Advice to Management

    Grow a pair and own up to the company's flaws. Start making a change instead of just complaining all day.

    Not enough time to get anything done, low pay, key holders and the managers basically have the same job description.

    Exposure to vendors and Planning
    Free Coffee

    Cons

    No training program. You have to figure out what your doing on your own.
    Poor working relationships and everyone talks poorly about everyone else.
    Very little room for growth or development.
    Extremely low starting pay with no raises or bonuses.
    Very expensive health insurance with poor benefits. Not to mention that you can't add your spouse.
    No 401K or merit increases.

    Advice to Management

    Get it together. If you treat your employees poorly your going to get poor results.

    Pros

    Fast paced work environment with very little down time.

    Cons

    Work life balance was non-existent. DM position was at times a highly paid stock position. High turnover of store staff lead to having to run the store.

    Advice to Management

    Take care of the field personal as they are ones really running the business.
