I worked at Claremont McKenna full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Nice campus and location. Exceptional students. Could have been a great place to work. Glassdoor has Pamela Gann down as the CEO. She is long ago stepped down more's the pity.

    Cons

I'm with the person who said CMC operates on a "lean staffing" model at the lower levels. Staff leaves, you just get to do more work when they aren't replaced. Like it's expected and you're not supposed to notice. This might be acceptable especially if it were only temporary for a few months if salaries were commensurate with demands, but they're not. Advice to Management

I worked at Claremont McKenna full-time

    Pros

Most everyone apart of this community is smart, dedicated, diligent, and personable. It's an exceptional place with manifold opportunities for professional development. The students are also exceedingly bright and a joy to work with.

    Cons

CMC has long operated on a "lean staffing" model, so everyone tends to have too much on their plates. This would be acceptable if salaries were commensurate with demands, but they're not. Also, I think the current leadership lacks direction, so the ship feels somewhat rudderless.
