I have been working at Clark Associates full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Pay and benefits are very competitive. Office culture within your team is fun and keeps a nice, lighter atmosphere. The breakdown of teams helps construct good expectations and guidelines of what we're trying to accomplish. However, the most valuable part of working at Clark is the opportunity to move up. Or even around. If you provide the company with good work ethic and intelligence, reward is given in the form of quick...

    Cons

Procurement isn't the most talkative bunch, but some people help change that across the different teams. Also not a lot of holiday and PTO, although they have increased it recently.

    Advice to Management

Help your employees grow. Keep open lines of communication and keep your team involved on different projects and events. Remember we all want to succeed both as an individual and together as a company.

I worked at Clark Associates full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Great campus, on-site gym, coffee room.

    Cons

They promise things and do not deliver, like VariDesks. If you do everything you say you will do, they will still fire you, even if you disclose a disability in your interview. They do not care about veteran status, and will discard you before your 60 days very easily. Your trainer will not be your same position, and will do nothing but complain about you behind your back. Your mentor will always be busy and will not...

    Advice to Management

look long and hard at managers that have "revolving door" policies for their departments. If they have low retention, it may not be the employees. Their actions reflect the company as a whole. Reviews and low ratings catch up in the long run. You should probably start a company wide orientation as well, as not having this makes your company look like they absolutely do not care about setting employees up for success....

I have been working at Clark Associates full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

-Great pay against industry/regional average. -Amazing benefits are provided for individuals and family. I have family that are full time nurses at local hospitals and I have better healthcare than both of them. -Excellent retirement planning and 401 (k)'s options -Always opportunity for growth if you can prove yourself. I started at an entry level position, worked hard, showed a desire for responsibility...

    Cons

-Work-Life balance can become difficult as you take on more responsibility and develop a team. It eventually comes full circle once your team is fully developed though. -Younger management: it's a learning curve on how to handle situations and develop people, but that is going to be experienced any where. They've also invested more into management classes to help younger managers learn the ropes.

    Advice to Management

Continue to invest in people that are a good fit for the company and success will follow. Also, knowing about HR laws would be helpful for young managers.

I worked at Clark Associates full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Literally none, I have to put something here

    Cons

The lack of HR is incredibly unprofessional. In reality, if you read these negative reviews and the company's response to them, you should know that the responses are completely invalid. There is no overarching system to establish any sort of accountability for managers or company culture. Specifically, they establish the "DiSC test" and say that they don't "use it to silo people", however it is just a test given out...

Despite of all the pros I mentioned it’s my sincere advice PLEASE DO NOT WORK FOR THIS COMPANY. This company would hire people like crazy and would leave you so easily as nothing has happened. If you would be hired please do not take this company as your long term option. This is the worse place to work. I was hired and my coworkers already warned me about the culture and how easily they get rid of people so please even...
