    Pros

Everyone who works here is very nice, hard working, and we have a lot of meetings to let everyone know what new changes may be happening or just to say how well you all are doing. There is great benefits and many reward programs

    Cons

May be able to improve communication between all employees. Not much room for advancement even if your perfect for the job. Low pay but good benefits

    Advice to Management

Listen to employee ideas and ask what we think before making any decisions. Overall your doing a great job but some things need improvement, naturally.

I worked at Clark Retirement Community full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great atmosphere; staff are very caring; beautiful facility; nice residents; community involvement; dementia program; work schedule; attempts at team work by frontline staff.

    Cons

Extremely poor communication; significant daily changes; cliques; lack of follow through and lack of accountability; operates for appearances rather than truth.

    Advice to Management

Utilize the talent you have at your disposal. It is a poor use of resources to hire so many contract staff and cut employees' benefits and positions while paying an obscene amount of money to contractors when your employees are capable of doing the job and are invested.

I worked at Clark Retirement Community full-time

    Pros

Most of the staff is great to work with! Management is proactive and asks for help/ideas to reduce turnover when it has been higher.

    Cons

Often understaffed, which meant we had to work short. More difficulty staffing certain units since fewer people wanted to work with difficult/demanding family members, which lead to working short on those units more often.

I have been working at Clark Retirement Community part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Clean and nicely decorated. Residents are nice as are co-workers (other CNA's)

    Cons

RN's and office staff can be a little snooty and treat CNA's like they are uneducated

    Advice to Management

Treat CNA's with greater respect and don't talk down to them. A lot of CNA's are nursing students so they are definitely not stupid.
