I worked at Clear Capital full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

fun atmosphere for an office, great benefits, easy software, generally strait forward goals, lots of overtime

    Cons

Management was clearly not communicating amongst themselves and were constantly changing things so quickly and with so many variable it was impossible to see what would actually make things run more efficiently and make things better for the company.

    Advice to Management

Let your leaders lead, actually do your job and communicate, if you don't know the answer ask the people on the floor instead of over managing the things you're not sure of into a new, impractical SOP

I have been working at Clear Capital full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great environment, great people. Love the CEO's. Good Hours, Good compensation. Job intriguing and fast paced.

    Cons

Need more training time. Need better benefits (I.e. Medical/dental) less micro managing by middle Mgmt. More hands on training all around.

    Advice to Management

More dynamic training. For someone to come off the street and not know about BPO's or PI's or all the other reporting. Teach them from the bottom up how it works, Hire more "older" people, not just Millennials. Get some experienced veterans, would make a world of difference in the atmosphere. Need to hire a Vet, disabled vets, or any kind of vets. There are NONE that I have met.

    Pros

Co workers were nice. Work was really redundant and not fulfilling. Management was pretty relaxed and not on you about everything

    Cons

Work was redundant. If you want to stare at a computer 8 hours a day and listen to pandora this job is for you

    Pros

    Cons

The full time employees sometimes must complete mandatory overtime. This could be looked at as a pro.

I have been working at Clear Capital full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The people are wonderful and the setting spectacular. Lake Tahoe region is a beautiful place to work and play. That's if you get a chance (see below). Benefit package is one of the better ones in my work life, and middle management does what it can to keep people "happy"--read 'less likely to quit.'

    Cons

Wholesale management changes and high turnover, combined with punishing workloads, onerous OT, escalating customer demands, a sense that no effort is good enough and a feeling of futility make this place just a way to collect a paycheck. Except that you have to work 50+ hrs/wk to make ends meet. If I'm going to be this stressed and pressured, I'd just as soon earn more money elsewhere. Oh by the way, it's become so bad that people have to be 'reminded' of promotional opportunities. In the past, the company could fill jobs internally. Now, it seems that people don't want 30% more responsibility for 5% more money.

    Advice to Management

Not sure what to tell senior management but it seems like they've become more distant from the day to day that regular workers endure. Perhaps have them man the phones for a day to see what has become of the 'great experiment.'

    Pros

Coworkers are great and you can't best living in the Lake Tahoe area

    Cons

Paranoia amongst the folks who are running the place is creepy (the CIO likes to watch the surveillance footage in his spare time...). The CEO tries to act like he is a high and mighty Christian but when you get him behind closed doors he is anything but that. I have never met a group of more fake people in my life.

I have been working at Clear Capital full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Really innovative technology happening here. Really love the forward thinking attitude of the leadership here. No blockers of ideas here. Really great teams and intelligent people.

You will always be learning something and working with absolutely top notch engineers.

Salary is EXTREMELY competitive, even with bay area rates.

    Cons

Sometimes work life balance can get out of whack, but this is also the tech industry.

    Advice to Management

Keep on chugging! I think we're doing great!

I worked at Clear Capital full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

End of the head bonus, health benefits

    Cons

So much mandatory overtime. We all live in a beautiful area, but with this job, all you do is work and can't enjoy why you live in Tahoe. Maybe hire more people and have less OT?

    Advice to Management

Your employees aren't happy. Maybe give a little back to the employees and let them know they are valued. It's because of them the owers are rich.
