    Pros

Great working environment with Clearpoint associates the pay great with Clearpoint as they valued the mission and the reputation their housing group is great

    Cons

MMI is not keeping any Clearpoint associates they laid off everyone effective end of March MMI has too many managers whom have two managers they report to MMI charges max state allowed set up fee beware

    Advice to Management

Remove additional managers and take their salaries and apply it to community outreach and clients saving them the set up fees

    Pros

Helping clients is the priority and this responsibility is a shared commitment by the Counselors that work here.

    Cons

The Counselors are also given the burden of the organizations shortcomings. Having an opportunity to succeed is the responsibility of leadership. This Agency needs new leadership with new ideas that can lead to new opportunities.

    Advice to Management

If you have been a part of this organization for more than 5 years please leave. You have been responsible for so many decisions that have lead to lay offs.

I worked at Clearpoint Credit Counseling Solutions full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

It is just a job. Not a career. If you want a paycheck, that is a good start.

    Cons

The leadership does not lead by values. Their talk does not match their walk.

    Advice to Management

Close offices that you don't care about. You only care about Atlanta, so stop treating all other locations like step-children.

I worked at Clearpoint Credit Counseling Solutions full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Great co-workers. 401 with a small match. Ability to help people.

    Cons

Money and numbers, not people, are the focus now. The company does not care about clients, and it does not care about employees. The atmosphere is threatening and overbearing. Counselors are asked to act in ways that are not ethical to improve or create numbers. The company does not follow the core values that promotes. The company has gone from an amazing place to work and to make a difference, to one that is not operating with any real standards. People are leaving in high numbers. Some of our best people left and took pay cuts just to escape feeling like they were being threatened. Good people are leaving because they simply do not feel good about their jobs any longer, and that's a shame.

    Advice to Management

If you don't start treating your people and your clients as if they have value, the company will crash and burn. If this company continues on this path, it will be lucky to escape an ethics investigation before it crashes and burns.
