Management is very confused about how to go about daily operations
    Bad press for mismanagement
Management is NOT technical at all
Massive paycuts, furloughs, and no pay raises
Write bad reviews to justify no pay raises

    Pros

Mid size company with small size focus. Very MMIS customer focussed.

    Cons

    Too narrow focus.
Will not take a stand if customer is wrong.

    Advice to Management

Allow growth of the people from outside. The Management is too crowded with people who have no outside CNSI experience.

    Pros

you have a job.. thats all.

    Cons

Highly unstructured. Unprofessional.. and managers are irresponsible. They have no idea what is going on in the project.. your work depends on your immediate contact or supervisor who could be a junior programer who know nothing about managing and delegating work. Biased towards male workers.

Managers are arrogant. Talk only with other managers. They walk past you even after you greet them.

    Pros

If you can get on their good side it can be a real boon since they will give you a lot of responsibility and promotions.

    Cons

Senior managers tend to do whatever the head of the office says, even if unethical.

    Advice to Management

Stop using intimidation and favoritism to make policies and promotions.

    Pros

    Good location, that's about it.

    Cons

Highly disorganized, standards and expectations are always changing with very little communication from management and between departments. Management expects you to take your work home every night. Employees work 10-15 hours per day

    Advice to Management

Talk to your employees. Have more transparency and allow your employees to have a life outside the office.

I have been working at Client Network Services full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

They have a good break area in the MD office

    Cons

The employees in the MD office are 95% Indian. So much for diversity. I would assume this is because the other 95% of the races are not qualified. I guess Apple, Amazon, and Google must be lucky as they seem to find a very diverse group of employees. Then again, maybe they do it because they can threaten them by sending them back to India if they do not do exactly as they are told.

    Advice to Management

That corner office you have and that Audi R8 you drive does not make a you a leader. It just makes you an egotistical idiot with zero leadership skills.

I worked at Client Network Services full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Mostly H1Bs, so they are flexible about taking vacations.

    Cons

Lots of people jumping ship. It's all about the bottom line and squeezing as much as possible out of the people who haven't left. Mostly waterfall development or operations and maintenance. I don't remember the last time they won a new project or went live with anything. If you really need a job they aren't the worst government contractor, but they don't do much in the DC area so expect to travel, and the technology is old so don't expect to grow your skills or have a lot to add to your resume. If you interview ask a lot of questions about the job, technology, travel expectations, review process, vacation, training, etc. If someone promises something, make sure it gets put in your offer letter.

    Advice to Management

Earning back the trust of employees and customers is going to take a long time, strong leadership, and serious commitment to a plan
