I worked at Clifford Chance full-time

    Pros

U.S. lawyers who want exposure to the most sophisticated cross-border transactions should seriously consider Clifford Chance.

    Cons

Especially given the time zone differences inherent in cross-border work, the job is 24/7/365.

I have been working at Clifford Chance as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Clifford Chance is an amazing place to work. There is a constant atmosphere of dedication and drive and the teams (Graduate Recruitment in particular) are incredibly strong and cohesive. Consistent efforts are taken by all staff members to better themselves and their peers which I find motivating and exciting. Very grateful to have an insight into day to day work at Clifford Chance and hope to be a solicitor here one day.

    Cons

It said that I must enter at least 5 words for cons but I don't have any.

I have been working at Clifford Chance full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Progressive use of technology and new working practices (agile working). Open culture, which allows exposure to all parts of the business. Effort is rewarded, and there is a great deal of forgiveness if things don't quite go to plan - as long as the intent is positive and effort is high.

    Cons

Expectations around performance are high - which is consistent with any world-class organisation - and this can become exhausting. At times decisions are made and then reversed, and this can slow progress and can be draining.

    Advice to Management

Continue to share the vision and support people in delivering it. Promote integration across all functions - the organisational boundaries can hinder performance and pace.
