I have been working at Clinical Pathology Laboratories full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The health benefits don't cost an arm and leg, free lab work, catered lunches just because, Amy's ice cream on a hot day, Lab Week is week long activities and CPL works hard to show appreciation to employees.

    Cons

Pay could be better. Had monthly bonus in Customer Service department and under new manager, changed to quarterly bonuses and now only to top three performers in the call center receive a bonus, they rest, a pay cut with no bonus anymore.

    Advice to Management

Don't micro manage your people. Let them do their jobs.

Supervisor should be more open regarding the unwarraried abuse the team leader was appling to certain team meminers, otherwise it was an excellent job and company yo work for.

I worked at Clinical Pathology Laboratories full-time

    Pros

Plenty of work and a lot to learn. It was a comfort to know that there was enough work to prevent lay-offs. Usually, I received requested time-off. There are times over-time is offered as well. They had fun parties and provided good food for the employees.

    Cons

Disorganized company and poor management style. Found dishonesty among the leadership and they lack motivational skills. Heavy micro-management. Poor Training. Some team leads were inpatient and had a bad habit talking about employees to other employees. No Advancement Opportunities.

    Advice to Management

Quality not Quantity needs to be most important. Rush mentality, many errors. Leadership does not recognize good talent.
