I have been working at Clinical Pathology Laboratories full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Clinical Pathology has been around since 1948 and has an extensive lab testing menu with broad insurance provider contracts.

    Cons

Management does not engage in a positive manner and their commission structure is a bit ambiguous.

    Advice to Management

I would advice the management team to be more engaged with staff in a positive manner and create positive environment that creates teamwork.

I worked at Clinical Pathology Laboratories full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    - Stable job. If you do the work you'll stay.
    - You do the same thing everyday, so if you don't like change this is for you.
    - Good benefits, but there is no such thing as sick leave, you just use PTO.

    Cons

    - There is zero opportunity for advancement. Zero
    - There is no trust from the managers. You can be Jesus Christ and work there for 10 years with no problems or anything and you'll be questioned when you are missing 10 minutes from the time sheet.

TLDR: This is a job for people who aspire to have stable employment but never have the need to speak up or be successful in life.

    Advice to Management

I understand you need to monitor the employees, but there needs to be at least an illusion of trust and respect.

I worked at Clinical Pathology Laboratories full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Overall it is a nice facility, people are friendly and there is a family like atmosphere. Great benefits!

    Cons

No room for advancement. There is a strong old boy network at this company. If you don't mesh with this environment, it will be difficult working here. People work there until they retire or die.

    Advice to Management

Don't play favorites with the people you manage. It really hurts the morale of employees. Hire more women in leadership, i.e. management, roles. Hire competent managersnd supervisors who understand the work they are asking their employees to do.

I worked at Clinical Pathology Laboratories full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

the only pros I can think of is the coworkers were good to work with (most).

    Cons

Sneaky. Deceitful. They laid off all of Orlando billing and sent the work to Austin, Texas. They did not tell the employees in Texas what they had done. To add to that the employees in Orlando who were slated for August lay off were treated like Garbage by management up until the last day.

    Advice to Management

If you think your job is safe think again. You are disposable. You would do well to remember how you treated billing in their last weeks. What goes around comes around and we can't wait for that day.

    Pros

Great team. When you work hard who has time to sweat the small stuff? This place offers as much or as little experience. It is yours for the taking.

    Cons

Whiney people, but they are everywhere. Not all, of course.

    Advice to Management

Provide some upward momentum to keep the better employees longer.

    Cons

Lack of management focus, direction and leadership. each location operating differently. low salary, very convoluted, unfair commission plan. poor to non existent training program. Internal communications was the worst I had ever seen (both verbally & electronically) Company has bad reputation for service in many areas.

    Pros

    None there are none!!! Happy...

    Cons

Terrible communication and lack of sympathethy.

    Advice to Management

If marihuana is legal is your state and you have an employee who explains their personal story with you as to why marijuana showed up on their drug screen and have doctors notes to prove it, don't wait 3+ weeks to communicate with the potential employee, and tell them straight up, you lead me on and I am forever disappointed and disgusted with this company, I was willing to grow my career with them.
