I worked at Clinical Pathology Laboratories full-time

    Pros

Some of my coworkers were amazing. Great people and great at their jobs. Pay is decent but you’ll get the lowest raise possible and it will be months after you’re supposed to get it. Work in itself is decently easy to do.

    Cons

Everything else. The management is the worst I’ve ever worked with. The head of the branch is in her office maybe once or twice a week. Other than that she is on vacation. The manager below her will micro manage you to death. Nothing you do will make them happy. You will always be wrong and never receive positive feedback or praise. The favoritism is rampant here. You will be expected to do office work even if you were not hired to do that. No room for growth.

    Advice to Management

Humble yourselves. Be in the office. Spend an evening in the lab watching what goes on and realize that it is harder than you think and that your employees are doing their jobs to the best of their ability. Stop playing favorites with write ups.

I have been working at Clinical Pathology Laboratories full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Only one: get free labs that are done at CPL

    Cons

No real work life balance. Understaffed and will not offer full-time employment for people that need the hours especially when it is desperately needed. Do not hire new people. High turnover. Nothing gets done properly. No accountability! Managers will make a mistake and YOU will be held liable! Need to watch your back and just go to work and go home. Literally a pay check! Lots of gossip and favoritism!! Unethical! If you NEED a job for a little time or experience get that and get out! If you are someone that loves gossip, belittling others, and throwing people under the bus THIS JOB IS FOR YOU!

    Advice to Management

take care of your people, accept accountability when you screw up, get the overtime approved, hire more people, STOP GOSSIPING ABOUT YOUR EMPLOYEES OR MANAGERS, respect yourself and others around you.

I worked at Clinical Pathology Laboratories full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Pay is okay, hours okay

    Cons

No internal communication between upper management or other departments. Insurance is very expensive, incentives every quarter for the top 3 regardless if you met and exceeded your monthly goal. No more than to two % raise annually regardless of how well you've done. Employees steal from desks, sweaters from your chair, your lunch, and company xmas decorations off the walls.

    Advice to Management

They need to communicate clearly with upper management and their teams and stop blaming their lack of knowledge on employees
