    Negative Outlook

I worked at Clinigene full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Only the Food they provide is good. ;). Has a brand name Biocon tagged to itself.

    Cons

It is 6 years behind from all other companies in India in terms of operations and working procedures. Ex PI payment takes almost 3 months with their procedures and hundreds of approvals. Working culture not great. Not employee friendly, very high attrition.

    Advice to Management

Management has to take a stand and make up right decisions to avoid the high attrition rate.

    Positive Outlook

I have been working at Clinigene full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    1. The work culture is neither relaxed nor rigid. Enough opportunities are given to explore potential and build on it. Cons

    1. Promotions is not so rapid here. The average time taken for a promotion is longer than other companies in the industry 2. The working hours (9.5 per day) is also longer than other organizations where it is usually 8.5 to 9 hours per day.

    Advice to Management

Although there are the periodical rewards and recognition programs, i feel that promoting employees after 3-4 years is a bit longer than required. It isn't something desirable to see your fellow mates in better positions (designations) than you in the same industry where in all probability we are doing very much the same kind of work. This point made is of course besides the usual essential evaluation of the employee...

    I worked at Clinigene

    Pros

cab facility is fine, only your peers and subordinates will be friendly

    Cons

no encouragement, no motivation, your career is sidelined completely based on their requirements, salary is very low, if you spak about your career enhancements, your senior staff will be the forst ones to back out and say they are not responsible for anything, when they should be the ones to help us. If your manager is not happy with you, he will not only take it personally but will ruin your stay in clinigene till you...
