Pros
Working with great OTs and amazing kids, Management was super supportive
Cons
I was let go just days before my 3 month probation period ended, and they wouldn't tell me why, I asked if it was something that I had done, I was told No, nothing you have done, you are being let go "without cause"... I am a bit upset that I left a really well paying job with benefits, and 14 senority for this job, and now I am unemployed... seems un fair, snd with no notice.

Pros
None honestly. Terrible pay and not supported well.
Cons
Terrible place to work. They don't support their employees. You are expected to work for such little pay. Their payroll is terrible at "missing your shifts" and you have to fight for your pay. Definitely keep looking for another place.

Not the best workplace but not the worst
Apr 8, 2022 - Human Resources Coordinator in Mississauga, ONRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
-Good place to gain HR experience to launch your career for new grads -Flexible working hours -Remote/hybrid work -Good RRSP program - Coworkers are friendly and supportive - Less toxic than other home care agencies out there.
Cons
- EXTREMELY High turnover of HR staff. On average HR staff lasts about 6 months . - Constant changing of HR leadership.. 3 HR directors in the past 2 years. -High turnover of staff in general for all departments ( Payroll, IT, management). Very few people last longer than couple years. Factors for this range from inflexible pay structure , unrealistic workload that cannot possibly be completed in regular business hours -No annual pay increases , incentives or performance bonuses for HR staff. Salary is at the lowest of the range for HR professionals. - Management far too involved in HR processes. Need to get permission from management for minor details. HR treated more or less like secretaries rather than business partners -Sometimes will be asked to work outside regular hours but will not be paid overtime. -Low staff morale due to turnover - Have random projects thrown at you when you are already struggling with your work load - Dealing with decisions that make no sense like hiring from the outside for permanent HR roles instead of promoting good contract staff to available HR permanent roles. -Very manual work which takes up alot of time.. Offers still sent out manually for most offices

Pros
Amazingly supportive leadership team; Responsive and involved. Diverse workforce with an emphasis on operational excellence.
Cons
Orientation to the role could be better. Formal orientation should be in place especially around software used, roles of others, etc
