    Pros

New leadership is on-point with preparing firm to offer new services & methods to manage their information technology requirements. After many years of poor leadership, fresh start!

    Cons

Training opportunities necessary to keep and maintain highly skilled employees.

    Advice to Management

Must begin to focus on staff training requirements to ensure we meet the requirements of the new job descriptions. Keep doing what your doing as it continues to get better each week . . .

    Pros

The cons are so plentiful and inexcusable in a global firm, any pros are not worth it.

    Cons

Not the company any self-respecting adult with morals would work at. HR ignores sexual harassment complaints, and won't schedule exit interviews with departing employees. Reporting verbal and mental abuse from upper management is swept under the rug. There are supervisors in the office, but they are nothing more than people in seats. No diversity in office management. Upper management will put employees in the... middle of their personal disagreements with other members of upper management. New hires are held to a lower work standard than existing employees creating an environment of hostility. Employees are allowed to keep signs with hate speech in their areas and conversations of religious, race and age intolerance can be heard throughout the office. High turnover, which will continue to be a problem until complaints and reports of verbal abuse are taken seriously.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your employees while they are still your employees. Be aware of the hostility that your firm unconsciously supports.

I have been working at Clyde & Co full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

    - Great benefits and retirement - Often free food/snacks - Fun seasonal events - General awareness of the importance of work/life balance - Growth focused - Good training opportunities

    Cons

    - Politically incendiary partners. - Negative, blame-seeking social environment. Rampant fear of blame appears to lead to paranoia in some of the employees, which in turn perpetuates a cycle of skeptical antagonism. - The New York office is caught in a middle-stage of growth, so upper-level management can sometimes seem out-of-touch with employees. - Departments are somewhat scattered, e.g. billing may be... in the Kansas City office, while Accounts Receivable may be in the New York office. This makes productivity more difficult.

    Advice to Management

Focus on fostering an atmosphere of positivity to restore the sense that each of us is part of a team. Rampant fear of blame appears to lead to paranoia in some of the employees, which in turn perpetuates a cycle of skeptical antagonism.

    Pros

The beautiful downtown Kansas City , MO location is a fun place to work.

    Cons

The women in Billing/Collections, not e-billing so much, are horrible and extremely, extremely unfriendly to work with. Did I mention horrible and extremely unfriendly? Please do yourself a favor....

    Advice to Management

Please be involved and come out of your offices occasionally!

I have been working at Clyde & Co full-time

    Pros

The benefits aren't too bad. Legal support reps provide free food almost weekly. The facilities are decent. The hours are good.

    Cons

The computers are slow and the templates could be better. Imagine working in one office that run like three different law offices. Politically insane! It's like being at a high school with bullies who kiss up to the teachers so the teachers never believe you when you want anything addressed about the toxic political enviroment. If someone doesn't like you, don't be surprised if they are running to spread lies... to make your work life horrible. Don't expect HR to be neutral or to even listen to you. This is the worse work enviroment I ever encountered. You will be able to say that you work at an international law office, but the lack of training and two-faced personalities aren't worth it. Sadly, no one thinks anything is wrong with the culture. If you say anything about the environment, you need to be ready to get fired or quit.

    Advice to Management

Putting everyone from the interns to attorneys together on a few phone calls isn't real training. Each office needs a person responsible for training new employees, because that's not happening at all offices. Get control on the toxic cliques who pride themselves on how many years they're been with the office. Resolve the IT problem. The computers run like dial-up internet at times.

I have been working at Clyde & Co full-time

    Pros

    Good firm and it’s stable

    Cons

This is about the Kansas City office only. People are cliquish, if they don’t like you you’re excluded and treated poor by the mean girls, and depends on who you are if they like you. Someone sent a company wide email to collect money for a gift for someone’s housewarming. They don’t do that for everyone, just the favorites. It’s pretty discriminatory and it has hurt peoples feelings. But they don’t seem to care.

    Advice to Management

Treat people fairly, deal with the mean people and quit letting them get away with acting like that

    I worked at Clyde & Co full-time

    Pros

Pros: some very nice people, beautiful offices, great equipment, nice staff perks I.e., free food, nice kitchens

    Cons

Cons: Long time staff are jaded, negative 👎. Human Resources plays favorites with tenured staff as opposed to new members. Lack proper training.

    Advice to Management

Better training to new staff. Encourage more interaction between staff and attorneys — too great a divide currently. Feels too political. If one partner doesn’t like you, you are out.
