I worked at CoWorx Staffing full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Interacting with individuals of various backgrounds was rewarding.

    Cons

Absolutely everything mainly upper management. This has been by far the worse place I have ever worked for. Majority of the positive reviews on here are from employees who were directed to write them. The branch manager can not run the branch solo has to get direction from account managers on everything....no guidance, training, appreciation. Turnover is terrible.

    Advice to Management

Manager training....desperately needed. Money hungry sales team they place people in jobs with very low pay.

I worked at CoWorx Staffing full-time

    Pros

The agents were the best part of the job. I always enjoyed speaking with them, learning about them, and working and guiding them. You will learn a lot about human resources and payroll/staffing management.

    Cons

CoWorx upper management (those involved with corporate) condones a hostile/racist work environment. Upper management has brushed unprofessional conversations and situations under the rug to protect certain employees. Onsite Supervisors are treated exactly the same as agents, but with less benefits. Extremely low pay for the work/flexibility you are asked to perform, and processes change consistently on the... client/internal side. You may be the best onsite (or think you are) and in the blink of an eye can lose your job. Communication is extremely poor and the office is disorganized. I would strongly suggest that if you obtain an interview for an internal/onsite position, run away as fast as you can.

    Advice to Management

Micromanaging is not the best way to run an office, and protecting upper management from being removed from the company for your own personal gain is not going to help the business grow long-term. I'll be surprised if Sequential even decides to renegotiate or renew the contract.

I have been working at CoWorx Staffing full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    Most coworkers are nice.

    Cons

The list of responsibilities is always growing while your paychecks stays the same. The hard working employees are heavily taken advantage of to compensate for the less committed ones. Upper management is continuously talking about all the great things that are coming, yet all stays the same. There is no company cellphone provided but you are expected to use your personal one for work purposes. The benefits provided... are not affordable- high premium, high deductible, outrageous out of pocket responsibility, no 401k matching. Turnover is extremely high (at least Atlanta, GA). Upper management involvement in daily operations is minimal, yet they make sure to take plenty of credit for successful outcomes; like JFK said, "success has a hundred fathers but failure is an orphan." Upper management is making "big bucks" while those who actually put in the hard work are counting pennies.

    Advice to Management

Recognize your most committed employees instead of overloading their work to compensate for what lacks in other offices; offer a fair compensation that truly reflects the work being done. As the saying goes, put your money where your mouth is.

I have been working at CoWorx Staffing full-time

    Pros

For the most part coworkers are pleasant to work with, offices are well kept, certifications are offered to employees at no cost.

    Cons

Very poor Directive in the region; employees are often treated unprofessionally and controlled by the region's upper management. There is little to no recognition for achievements, though there are plenty of future expectations. There is always a reason why you are not going to be considered for the next level, but no plan or intention to get you to that next level. Some employees have even been told they cannot... contact HR without getting the okay from the upper management of the region. Many fear to speak up because retaliation is part of the game in this region. Pay is also very low for the industry in this area.

    Advice to Management

When there is as much internal turnover as there is, you need to take a hard look at who is in charge. There is a common denominator profoundly damaging the region.
