I worked at Coach part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

always room to learn new skills, great training, always busy and when its slow you can always find something to do, merchandise basically sells itself.

    Cons

not much room to move up, scheduling rotation can be off.

    Advice to Management

rotating your workers on who works on weekends can keep everyone happy and upbeat. Instead of assigning by favoritism.

I have been working at Coach (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The quality of the product is top-notch. Strong emphasis on customer service and helping the customer build a relationship with the brand.

    Cons

Sales Associate rankings can make some employees competitive.

    Advice to Management

Rethink ranking system to make it more of a reflection of individual improvement rather than a source of competition between associates.

I worked at Coach full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great customer service and product training and comfortable work environment. Team environment as all including part time associates are able to earn monthly bonus based on sales.

    Cons

No time and a half for hourly associates on paid holidays. It's retail so the hours aren't always so desirable. Would be nice to have occasional weekends off each month.

I worked at Coach full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Great People, Great Product, Friendly

    Cons

Inconsistent Schedule, Average to Below Average Pay

    Advice to Management

Quick changing product and development is necessary to stay relevant, but too quick changes and frequent changes in policy/operations leads to unhappy employees. Also, employees are not paid enough in comparison to other retailers for the amount that we expect of them. We had an associate interview who said "why would I get paid minimum wage here and have to do all that is required, when I can get paid minimum wage at XYZ company and not have to do anything?" Other than that, the company is fantastic!
