I have been working at Coast Landscape Management full-time

    Pros

Fast- paced, great diversity, friendly people to be with.

Working here has been awesome. I work with people who are always smiling and happy. We have stressful days, but overall people are committed to joy here, and I think we really help the communities we are in, which is really important to me... the outreach here is really special.

    Cons

Not much I can think of

    Advice to Management

    Good work

I worked at Coast Landscape Management as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Worked directly under Irrigation Technician and gained valuable hands-on experience. Work crew was extremely welcoming, kind, and patient.

    Cons

Ended up doing a lot more landscape maintenance than was initially agreed upon. Poorly structured internship without an actual project to do.

    Advice to Management

If you are going to have interns in the future, create projects and timelines alongside work so that it feels like more of an internship rather than just a part-time job.

    Pros

Everyone is helpful and gets along for the most part. A lot of teamwork is needed to keep things going smoothly.

    Cons

I can't think of any cons.

I worked at Coast Landscape Management full-time

    Pros

Checks never bounced, but they do not share incentive bonuses on a regular basis. Managers are treated like second class slaves.

    Cons

The owners only care about making the most money instead of taking care of the landscape. Underbid the work, then complain that you are not saving them enough money, and are trying to squeeze every dollar from the clients.

    Advice to Management

Stop treating the employees like they can just be thrown away like trash.

    Pros

the atmosphere was very positive- fun but professional, relational strategy; emphasized crew relations and relations with those outside of the crews

    Cons

really no complaints, took care of me like family, only left because i was forced to relocate after a family incident

    Advice to Management

keep it up, love what your doing, well organized, easy to communicate with, appreciate the work events getting to know coworkers
