Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookDisapproves of CEOI worked at Coastal Transport full-time for more than 3 years
Pros
Some people I worked with and overtime
Cons
They base their wages on a 50+ hour work week. All dispatchers make the same regardless of what state you work in. Men are outright paid more than female dispatchers with equal or more experience. They do not match 401k or otherwise offer retirement.

I worked at Coastal Transport full-time for less than a year
Pros
You will get experience here, and there is usually plenty of work. Quick to get hired, hiring process is easy. New good equipment. Place to get experience.
Cons
Low pay as compared to like carriers, favoritism, seniority means nothing, you will be passed over to go to days if you don't make some noise. You have to be an advocate for you. Very high turnover. Weak benefit package, no match 401.

Pros
Good money you jus have to hustle. No forced dispatch. Mechanics are the best they’re on top of everything. Well maintained trucks
Cons
Long runs don’t pay as good. Once I worked night shift for a week and they didn’t pay for it, and won’t pay for it, because i started before the pay period. No 401k match
