I have been working at Coborn's part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

They work with people with disabilities and make available the proper accommodations. They are like "family," like 'home." The coworkers work hard, and are relatively friendly.

    Cons

You're "on camera" at all times, due to shoplifting and/or fraud. So just get used to that from the very beginning, and you'll be fine!

    Advice to Management

    None.

    I have been working at Coborn's full-time

    Pros

    Flexible hours, especially working weekends

    Cons

Low pay. Too many Minnesota nice ---nice to your face but leave their mess everywhere for others to clean up. Low paying jobs come with trashy behaviors. Some Bosses might nice to your face but don't do much. Hard working ain't appreciate for their efforts. Lazy ones ain't being punished for their behaviors; on top of that, they can't take the heats! Communication meetings don't mention anything about what kind of benefits we get for working there. 401k, the company does not match ; 401k is just your money. Wells Fargo manages 401k for Coborn's and they call it Employees Profit Sharing. Cross training is not to advance you further up in the corporate ladders. Turn over rates are very high for low paying positions. Cross training are to fill the empty spots from high turn over and people call off.

    Advice to Management

Get rid of lazy ones; especially, temps who don't follow any rules, don't use their brains, and just stick around to get pay. Get rid of thieves! That's a waste of company's money!!!
