    I have been working at Coborn's part-time

    Pros

My coworkers are usually very kind and friendly

    Cons

Too many policy changes that effect workers that have been there for a long time negatively. Including pay cuts.

    I worked at Coborn's part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Work with mostly good people. Get samples from different departments. Recently revamped health incentive program.

Also got to learn about the meat industry. EX. what part of the animal a cut comes from.

    Cons

Environment was physically demanding (meat department was very cold). Also found several of the managers to be overly strict.

    Advice to Management

Make sure that people take their 15 minute breaks. They make the job easier, but most people are under the impression that they are too busy to actually use it.

    I worked at Coborn's part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Nice coworkers, a work plan that is efficient

    Cons

No room for growth and very few career opportunities, Penny Pinchers

    Advice to Management

Put more work into keeping your good employees around. I saw a lot of good employees leave because of a lack of opportunities.

Management can be aweome at store level but beyond that your just another body no matter what you have accomplished or the customers you have personally retained.

    Cons

Alot of work/years and knowledge for little pay as the years go on. Prepared to be stepped on!

My coworkers really made my job fun. Very flexible hours and the premium pay on Sundays is nice!

    Pros

    Flexible hours
    Fun Coworkers
Would be a fun job, if had better management

    Cons

Management is only focused on saving money. They don't care about your problems and if your manager is well connected with any higher ups kiss all hope goodbye. They will treat you horribly and everyone is too afraid to do anything about it.

    Advice to Management

Have a better screening process for managers, some people are not qualified for the job they have.
