I worked at Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Steady paycheck, made some life long connections, gained experience

    Cons

    It’s “Consolidated “ for a reason.

    Advice to Management

Get in touch with the real world. Do some “Undercover Boss” business or something. A day as a salesperson is a nightmare. Don’t play the family, religion card, it’s insulting.

I have been working at Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

They love to promote people who apply themselves. I started building at 12.15 and i went full time with 14.63/hr after 3 months. Now I'm making 15 an hour and its just been a year. I'm excited to see the future with them.

    Cons

We recently got some new management who arent very experienced with the way we do things. This results in some late nights and messy training.

    Advice to Management

Ask lower tier workers before making large changes to the flow of work and setup of stations.

I worked at Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

I worked for this company for many years, it was a great job . I only left because I wanted to pursue a career in a completely different field.

    Cons

The only real con was there was very little room for advancement. The only advancement at that time was if somebody retired.

    Advice to Management

It was a great job, I really have no complaints. Thank you

I worked at Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

    Better than starving I suppose?

    Cons

Long hours 70 hours a week. No overtime pay. Talked down to. Treated like second class citizen. Always be at work even it wife is given birth. Also threaten with disciplinary action for being in emergency room with kidney stones(they stay short handed and management don't want be in a truck) running a route rough bro.lol

    Advice to Management

Awe I can't tell you guys anything. You know it all! Keep doing what you been doing and I wonder if Tracy Farmer in Nashville TN still bleeds coke? They canned him bro!! Upper level management . Gone ! Secretaries gone. Bought up too much territory and cutting back salaries . Work them drivers like slaves and they keep leaving. 2 foot stack of papers on desk of drivers that has quit just in last 4 months. Let's hit coke with class action lawsuit for Chinese overtime and not allowing time for breaks or lunch. I still got a lot my old pay stubs and cover sheets with daily itinerary. Proof that nothing fluctuating about the work day .they know how long the day takes. Come on boys let's get em!
