I have been working at Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

The pay is decent and so are the benefits. Some of the managements is easy to get a long with.

    Cons

They do not care about your family. They want you to work 5 days 12 hours a day and then do computer work at home. Very demanding and their expectations are extreme.

    Advice to Management

Need to give people less hours to work and less to do a day so they can do quality work not quantity. Very unsafe driving and moving as fast as you can to hurry to the next stop. Not to mention stacking all the signs and cardboard in my personal car whenever I cannot see out the back windows. Very unsafe for my children.

I have been working at Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

No boss over your back the whole time watching your every move. A free environment. Time goes by fast. Yea

    Cons

They have this crazy production system that makes no sense. You can be the hardest worker in the warehouse but if you don't meet production there's a chance you'll get fired.

    Advice to Management

    Re structure the production system

    Pros

Best money you can make with out a degree. Company has great values and mission statement. Cheap drinks from plant sale every other week.

    Cons

Work 12+ hrs a day. Day is not done until the stops are complete. Company caters to Indian store owners and loses focus on American stores.

    Pros

Decent pay, some good people, easy wet chemistry/bench work

    Cons

No work/life balance, work almost every weekend, labor not intended for quality control, no room for growth

    Advice to Management

I have been working at Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Pay and benefits is about it. Some of the people are ok but really all this place is about is profiting they don't really care about their employees like they claim to.

    Cons

To do the job correctly it takes a lot of time and they want you to do it correctly of course but don't want you to take a lot of time. Chinese overtime google it. Poor management with out to get you attitudes.

    Advice to Management

Take a look at all the people that come and go there is more to life than a decent salary like respect and gratitude to start. We are all men/women you are no better than us. We are all working together for a common goal to make, sell and distribute the worlds greatest soft drink. Take a step back and evaluate yourselves for starters then re-read the company mission statement and goals. I'm sure Mr. Harrison has no idea or maybe he does.
