I have been working at Coca-Cola Company full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Overall good company to work for. They do a lot for the local community and you learn and you have the opportunity to get exposed to several different thkngs.

    Cons

Promotions are difficult to get. They have a culture of "who you know" not qualifications or hard work. Not much training provided, typically you are "thrown to the fire"

    Advice to Management

Most managers are very helpful and want to coach and help employees do well and get promoted.

    Pros

    Good Benefits but poor pay

    Cons

The longer you are with the company, the more you will be out of alignment with regards to being paid your market value

    Advice to Management

Make sure you insulate your talent from being recruit-able by other companies who are willing to pay market value.

    Pros

Great resume builder and you will never be bored. You get 3 weeks off starting, if you can find the time to use it.

    Cons

The work/life balance is pretty much non-existent. There is constant pressure from upper management to perform with one of the worst commission structures I have ever seen. The commissions you do end up making are confusing and not paid in a timely manner. Frustrating. It honestly equates to not feeling valued.

    Advice to Management

Pay your employees what they are worth.

I worked at Coca-Cola Company full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

#1 Brand in the World 10 years running until 2013 when I left! Good People, who given the correct tools and upper management support and direction, could flourish.

    Cons

No Work Life Balance. Big push under the guise of Diversity and Inclusion. I felt their Diversity push but not any inclusion. It is all about share holder value and cutting costs including pay. Bring in 20 something's with Zero experience and pay them 1/2 as much as knowledgeable seasoned employees with relationships. They are always cutting something to appear somewhat profitable ie: Company social events cancelled, Hiring freeze in August to EOY, 15,000 jobs cut 1 year, Company Cars taken the next and it goes on and on! I couldn't even take a million dollar customer out to lunch on them so I paid for it out of my own pocket!!!

    Advice to Management

Upper Management is an OLD Boys network which is now so arrogant they believe ANYONE can sell Coke! Management get a CLUE it is only caramel colored soda water! You must be part of the "Group" to get noticed, appreciated or recognized. They really hated it when I won all the sales contests but wouldn't become a groupie!!

I have been working at Coca-Cola Company full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Benefits, product line, brand leverage

    Cons

Micro managed, poor leadership, perfect world expectations , and very long hours

    Advice to Management

Do the Job instead of doing what makes sense on paper. The sales and service aspect of the job is set in a ideal world situation and as we know it's everything but a perfect world.

    Pros

Great brands, category information very accessible, customer information at your fingertips

    Cons

Focus changes daily, unfocused, decision making process too bureaucratic, no team atmosphere, no confidentiality, people in the wrong roles, disconnect between the company and its customers, too many upper management changes, fearful of job loss which leads to "if it's me or you, it's going to be you!!!"

    Advice to Management

Keep it simple. It's sugar and water not nuclear weapons. It should be fun. When your boss is walking on eggshells and his boss is walking on eggshells, it becomes very tense and STRESS rolls downhill. The negativity is unbearable!!!

Fastest growing brand in the beverage industry. Great benefits and salary was competitive. Amazing corporate culture and fantastic product.

    Cons

CCNA influence is destroying culture and driving senior management out. Merger with FUZE eliminated all field sales people

    Advice to Management

COME BACK and save the brand!
