I have been working at Coca-Cola Enterprises full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Good benefits, good job safety, clear company policies

    Cons

Management does very little to promote career advancement. Sure, the policy is not to waste their human potential, but if your manager wants to keep you around because you do a good job, it is very easy for him to torpedo your internal job application.

I have been working at Coca-Cola Enterprises full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

It's a job! Keeps the lights on and food on the table. What more could you ask for? First to try new Coke products.

    Cons

Work life balance, forcing cases down people's throats the end up hurting mom and pop businesses. Lack of teamwork throughout the organization

    Advice to Management

Respect people's time off. Develop structure and stick with it for awhile.

I worked at Coca-Cola Enterprises full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Great company events - meetings or rallies sometimes held at Soldier Field or United Center
Constant opportunities to give back to community

    Cons

Always running on too lean of a team to achieve goals
Many perks taken away in last years - specifically company car
    Lower than market value salary

    Advice to Management

Cannot continue to do more with less year-in and year-out

I have been working at Coca-Cola Enterprises full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Working for one of the best known brands in the world, great pride in that. Good benefits. Free soda.

    Cons

Literally the most stressful job I've ever had. Nothing is ever good enough, its frowned upon when you take vacation time, constant uncertainty that they love to hold over your head. Everyone works way more than 40 hours a week, takes their laptops home, and that is expected.

    Advice to Management

Work/life balance. You give vacation time for a reason, don't find a reason to keep your employees from using it.

    Pros

Benefits are good and pension starts after 7th year. They also have a pretty good 401k plan and full insurance package. Plus free drinks all day!

    Cons

Management is under tremendous pressure which flows downhill if you know what i mean. Certain groups are better than others but be careful who the manager of the group is.

    Advice to Management

Give credit where credit is due and stop changing directions so often. Offer bonuses to employees who truly stand out. Please stop having SO many meetings.

    I worked at Coca-Cola Enterprises full-time

    Pros

great brand and heritage ; great customer relationships

    Cons

high egos ; low value for front line and supervisory level employees by mid-senior leadership ; focus on what are you doing for me now versus value you've added over time ; brinksmanship and career climbing atmosphere at the extreme
