I worked at Code and Theory full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

NY retains a good reputation among medium to large players in this space. Technology team in SF is top notch.

    Cons

SF office is in a terrible location, heavily dependent on a few big clients who don't allow great or innovative work, all other projects are mid-tier at best. Leadership is a boys club of friends who lack experience and follow through in this field. Onboarding was nonexistent, culture is booze and cigarettes (yuck!) and progress is impeded by lack of transparency.

    Advice to Management

Hire senior level, experienced management from other agencies you aspire to be like. Watch things burn and change, its the only way.
