I worked at Cofunds full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Decent canteen and not too bad a salary for call centre work but that is all this company really has to offer!

    Cons

Lack of support from other staff and management, the training did not prepare you for the complexity of the work involved. Very much a culture of fear and people are quick to grass you up for any type of non-conformist behaviour or remarks. Oppressive environment and no scope to move off the telephones into a back office administration position.

    Advice to Management

Invest more in your staff and support their development instead of ignoring them and leaving them to flounder, unsupported.................

    Approves of CEO

I have been working at Cofunds full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    - Awesome subsidised staff canteen - Helpful staff - Good office environment - A decent salary for office work (contact centre) - Company is to be taken over by Aegon so could be opportunity for further growth and additional work opportunities in the Witham area

    Cons

    - Too many archaic systems to use - Set hours of 9am to 5pm in contact centre (no scope to go part-time) - New employees on permanent 37.5 hour contracts working alongside people on 35 hour (some on 6 mth temporary) contracts. - Commuting when you're at the mercy of the A12 or bus/rail delays

    Advice to Management

    - Please continue to invest in and support staff to grow with and remain in the company - Offer more structured and "on the job" training
