"Marketing team will tell you things that are not true" (in 2 reviews)
I have been working at Cogent Infotech Corp full-time (More than 3 years)
Been with the company for 4 years. Very good experience so far. Great projects, decent salary and benefits, excellent HR support, talented colleagues. In the last four years, I have never been on bench for more than a week.
Fast growing company, sometimes things fall through the cracks.

You are doing a good job

Managing a large IT modernization project with a State of Texas agency in Austin. The project is funded for 2 years. Very fortunate to work with a very talented, motivated and tech savvy team. Full support from management whenever required.
Apart from employee attrition I have not faced any issues so far.

Typical ICC company, easier to get an offer as long as you are an STEM student.
Management team is nice, will sponsor your working Visa; and they will try to help you if you are an valued person for them.
All you can think about the bad things of ICC, they do the same here.
(Fake your resume, sell you as an senior Eng guy even you are a fresh graduated student just out of college...)

Thomas, the main HR director at Cogent provided me with some very good wisdom about work and how to conduct oneself. Even though I was not the best employee at this company, the talks I've had with him and the enormous room I've been provided for growth was largely responsible for me stepping up in my career and gaining a deeper understanding of Programming.
The training room and the company itself is adequately equipped.
I hope the people who choose this company do gain the same or even more.
Nothing major to say at this time.

Cogent greatly improved my skills through training, provided me with great opportunities to work on projects I would not have had without Cogent, helped me with unfamiliar technologies at client site through mentoring by senior Cogent developers, enabling me to succeed on difficult projects, and in my career as a software engineer. I would not have the great opportunity I have today without Cogent, and Cogent continues to support me professionally and in help with Green Card. Many thanks to Cogent!
Some people said it took them longer time in placing to project, but notice that the people who spent the most time studying and preparing took the shortest time placing on project. There is no magic. You have to put in the effort.
