I worked at CohnReznick full-time for more than 3 years

        Pros

The people are so nice. The clients are diverse and interesting ranging in all sizes and industries. Hours outside of busy season are laid back. Good amount of PTO.

        Cons

Very small bonuses. Busy season = con, but definitely better than Big 4. Not many cons for a public accounting firm.

        Advice to Management

Compensate your people, have fun perks, add some team bonding events. Get to know your staff and make them feel like they actually matter. You have smart talented people, do something to keep them.

I have been working at CohnReznick full-time for less than a year

        Pros

-Your seniors, managers, and partners are dedicated to helping you learn and grow as a professional accountant -Very flexible with scheduling as long as communication is made with ample time to plan (with the exception of busy season - dependent on teams and engagement)

        Cons

Like all other public accounting firms (medium to large-sized), busy season is very hectic and the days are long. You work anywhere from 65 to 75 hours per week, which really takes a toll - emotionally, mentally, and physically

        Advice to Management

Communication to first/second year associates during busy season or handling of communication between seniors and managers could be better - in order to avoid confusion between tasks and who is doing what task

For your sanity, please run else you will begin to doubt yourself. sleepless nights and not feeling like coming to work each day will...
