Overall: -Scheduling is generally consistent -Tasks are all very easy or are accompanied by thorough directions -Young and fun college/high school age crew -Minimal skills needed -On the job training -Fun atmosphere -Get to keep tips at the end of the shift -Most days are fast-paced so time goes by quickly -Customers are normally in a good mood -Occasional down-time to hang out or take a quick break -Good customer service experience To summarize, his is a great first job for anyone looking for work experience or just looking to make extra money. I can justify the minimum wage hourly salary only because minimal skills and education are needed for this job. You get tipped pretty generously most shifts so that makes up for the crappy pay. If you dislike people or do not like to have fun, this may not be the job for you because it requires you to sing jingles for tips and interact with all different types of people. If you are outgoing or can force yourself to be outgoing, it is about the most simple, laid back job you could have.

If you are not looking to stay with this business for long (i.e. summer job, etc.), it is pretty decent and overall I cannot complain too much. You get quick at cleaning up at the end of the day and usually get out at a decent time. If you are a good employee, you may get promoted to a shift leader/key holder. Just respect your manager as well as the owner and you will be treated very well at Cold Stone.
