    Pros

there are some great people here...

    Cons

This company focuses heavily on getting new agents while forgetting about keeping their employees:

    - doesn't seem like this company is sure what direction they want to head in
    - a lot of employees have the same complaint yet nothing is done to fix said complaints
    -little support from management
    - you will sometimes have to work overtime... they will not pay you for it
-the culture here is.. if you make enough money you can get away with saying/doing what you want
-a lot of unnecessary drama between employees that effect the culture and work atmosphere

    Advice to Management

Listen to your employees complaints and do something about it

I worked at Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Get to meet some great people and see some beautiful homes.

    Cons

Worked for one of the diva/prom queens of CBRB. Lots of politics involved in everything. Most days I was treated like Anne Hathaway in Devil Wears Prada.

Promised 401K and other benefits. Never ended up following through on the 401K. I ended up paying all of my insurance although promised to be paid by employer at 50%.

    Advice to Management

It’s going to be tough to make any changes here. If you make it, great. If not, you don’t mean much to them.

    Pros

The company is growing and changing, which allows opportunity for professional growth and advancement.

    Cons

Very little pay for the workload expectation. Achievements are rarely rewarded, and
it seems the company rather you sit at your computer and be "bored" than grow, challenge, and create.

I have been working at Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Lots of variety day to day. Training was efficient. Agents are generally amazing to work with/for. Pay checks clear. Overtime is allowed. Some support from Corporate when asked. Marketing is on point.

    Cons

I had some problems with a fellow employee where I was being harrassed and I reported it to HR. They didn’t take action and told me it would be handled on a local level. It wasn’t. I reached out several more times with no answers or solutions for me and no consequences for the other employee. I still “deal with it” every day. and hate going to work because of that. Also, there is too much inconsistency with job roles and management styles between different brokerages even in the same metro. Its nice to have a bit of flexibility but not at the risk of being treated terribly by my direct boss with no repercussions or responsibility.

    Advice to Management

Don’t take the staff for granted. Yes, agents bring in the money. But their businesses EXIST because of the staff.
