    Pros

Not many. Free soda fountain machine.

    Cons

The one-star rating above was given only because I could not leave 0 stars (or I would have). Poorly managed business, from Chairman of the board to the C-suite executives down to the mid-level managers. The Chairman and C-suite have no idea what their subordinates are doing, and don't seem to question things like the high turnover experienced in small (but critical) groups. No clear vision is given, other than "be the best". IF you will be working in accounting, please know that the managers for this group are very bad. They will give you more work than you can accomplish in 40 hours a week, not authorize overtime, and still expect you to get your work done. They write people up, or fire them, for the smallest of things. They have fired 3 other people in my same position in less than 6 months after I left the company.

    Advice to Management

The chairman needs to step down; he has no idea as to how to run a business. The CEO is a nice guy who knows your name, but does not have much influence. The president is a great salesman (even got CBC to bring on his whole team when their previous company tanked and to got CBC promote him to his current position), but he is too focused on the sales side to notice problems under his nose.

    Pros

Plenty of work. Beverages in break room.

    Cons

The department I worked in, had too much work and not enough employees. Many employees were willing to put in the time to get the work completed and hit their deadlines. HOWEVER, they were told NOT to put in any overtime.
Several of these employees were also new to CBC Advisors. They told me they had minimal training, if any.
One manager told me repeatedly they did not trust the majority of those that reported to her/him. On a side note, I later was told by a co-worker that this same manager said they "hated" a specific employee they supervised. This same manager desperately needs to pick up people skills. Including how to: 1) TRUST!, 2) address issues/problems correctly and 3) not humiliate people in public (this makes everyone uncomfortable, even those not involved).
Reports for each property varied due to a desire to cater to each owners' wants. Is it possible to customize things yes. However, keep some consistency.

    Advice to Management

TRAIN!!!! Train on how to communicate. Train on proper soft people skills. Train on how to use proper tact.
The vision of becoming an elite property management company is great. However, you do NOT need to cater completely to each property owners wants. Yes, you can customize a little. IF you setup a "standard", and do it with excellence, you will move towards being an elite property management company.

I worked at Coldwell Banker full-time

    Pros

You have an office space to utilize... Teams within are very good for new agents

    Cons

Where to start. No one is REALLY willing to help unless it benefits them in some way. They are raping you with the cut they take! What they offer you in return IS NOT WORTH IT!!!! Competitive even within your own office.

    Advice to Management

Stop being fake and help! Helping your agents helps you!

    Pros

Unfortunately, there was nothing positive about my experience with this awful group.

    Cons

The compensation was grossly misrepresented by the team leader who can change your compensation at anytime. This is a group of pilot fish fighting over scrapes from the team leader, who is a true predator and shark.

    Advice to Management

    retire

    No opinion of CEO

    Pros

This company has good name recognition, the marketing department is exceptional and training opportunities are abundant.

    Cons

In my opinion, the compensation is the worst in the industry. Many times the managers are inexperienced.

    Advice to Management

Don't just put a warm body in a position of authority. Please insure they have the experience to supervise others and manage the company.
