I worked at Coldwell Banker full-time

    Pros

You have an office space to utilize... Teams within are very good for new agents

    Cons

Where to start. No one is REALLY willing to help unless it benefits them in some way. They are raping you with the cut they take! What they offer you in return IS NOT WORTH IT!!!! Competitive even within your own office.

    Advice to Management

Stop being fake and help! Helping your agents helps you!

I have been working at Coldwell Banker full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Coldwell Banker is a well established brokerage, so it has some great resources. Its reputation is fairly good depending on the market you're in.

    Cons

Agents have to deal with a lot of red tape sometimes to close deals. Sometimes the training can be inadequate, even though this is one of the things the company prides itself on. Not as cutting edge as some of the other brokerages. Not as much representation of new developments as the rest of the competition in South Florida.

I have been working at Coldwell Banker part-time

    Pros

Small staff of 35 agents in house but networks with 4 other offices. Great location and repute on as being #1 seller in NE GA MLS

    Cons

Vast area to show properties. Second home buyers are primary client and majority unsure of move

    Advice to Management

Have heard this from numerous new employees; overwhelmed with new material and no hands on trainer.

great networking with agents and coworkers, not a difficult job, sitting for almost all day, decent pay, could study over the weekend if you're a student

    Cons

    no benefits for part timers

    Advice to Management

Some benefits should be offered to part time workers

I worked at Coldwell Banker full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

May be a good company to start at if you are new/starting out in commercial real estate brokerage. Majority of agents end up switching to other brokerage firms within the first year.

    Base salary and Expenses paid
    Training provided

    Cons

Horrible management in the commercial division.
Lack of brokerage support for sales agents.
High turnover rate with sales agents.
Long hours and no pay for overtime.

    Advice to Management

Get new management and sales support for the commercial division. Commercial sales agents would do much better if the company started to put more of a focus on the commercial agents and not just the residential agents.

    Pros

Unfortunately, there was nothing positive about my experience with this awful group.

    Cons

The compensation was grossly misrepresented by the team leader who can change your compensation at anytime. This is a group of pilot fish fighting over scrapes from the team leader, who is a true predator and shark.

    Advice to Management

    retire

    Pros

CBC Advisors has a management team that actually lives by what the say. They treat everyone from the top down with the same respect.

    Cons

The only real con is sometimes the agents don't do a great job of communicating what they need and you have to hunt them down to get the job done.

    Advice to Management

Don't lose sight of what has made you a great company as you continue to grow.
