I worked at Cole Taylor Bank full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Smaller company/number of employees allowed for greater interaction with other departments and an ability to find different roles if looking to change areas.

    Cons

Compensation was less than some similar institutions.

    Pros

None bad place to work. There are no pros cronyism at its best. No room for advancement unless you were one of the chosen few and worked 70 hours a week.

    Cons

Management needs to stop playing favorites and allow people to move up based on merit and not friendship only. Bad place

    Advice to Management

Glad you sold. Don't run any other banks as you will continue to run your employees right out of the door. Horrible place

    Pros

This was a good place to work. Family friendly and good attention to work life balance while still being a serious place to work.

    Cons

Sometimes didn't seem sure if it was a big company or a small company. That made some processes feel heavier than necessary, and it was sometimes hard to get centralized information about policies.

    Advice to Management

This was a good management team. I've worked for a lot of financial institutions and management here was definitely doing something right.
