Advice to Management

For anyone looking to earn hours (MFT/ACSW) there is individual and group supervision available. It's actually excellent supervision. The variety of patients you see will help the DSM come alive. This is a definitely a place where you work with multiple professions and professionals. Most of the staff that you work with are very friendly and easy going. Leadership has consistently tried to protect the department from unfair treatment by other departments.
High turnover rate in nursing, social work, management. Pay seems to be a bit on the lower end of the scale. Promotions are about 3% per year to follow inflation so essentially, you're not really getting a raise. Potential for over time but depending on how much you value time vs money, it may or may not be worth the headache. Burn out rate can be high so having new replacements all of the time can lead to problematic timing.
