    Pros

College works was an amazing experience for me and helped me grow my knowledge of running a business and boosted my confidence in both my selling and interpersonal skills.

    Pros

You learn a lot about yourself. Depending on your district manager you can find great mentors.

    Cons

Difficult to make good money unless you work really hard. No show for your work until you start producing.

I worked at College Works Painting as an intern (More than a year)

    Pros

The internship made me grow up; I had an opportunity to work very hard, make a great amount of money, and boost my resume up big-time for being a freshman in college. I made $28,000 working part-time from February-May, and full-time from June-August. The Wisconsin (Great Lakes) Division is #1 in CWP, and they definitely know how to have a good time as well!

    Cons

A ton of responsibility given to young college students. I loved the responsibility, but for immature or lazy students, the program will weed you out right away. Highly recommend it but only if you're serious about the internship and its benefits. The intern and painter experience is very dependent on the manager responsible for them.

    Advice to Management

    Increase organization

I have been working at College Works Painting full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

This is my second year with the company and I've never had such a challenging and accomplishing experience in my life. I've learned more about myself, management, the real world and business than I could have possibly asked for. This internship changes lives and creates the future leaders of society.

    Cons

If you are not motivated, coachable, and driven with a strong work ethic, this is not for you.

I worked at College Works Painting as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

    -Helpful management
    -Fun culture
-Many helpful models to learn from
-Teaches you a lot about what it means to be an entrepreneur.

    Cons

    -Too much travel
    -Loss of weekends
    -No pay until jobs begin
-Too much work during your Spring semester of college to balance the internship and your studies.

    Advice to Management

Don't take so much off the top. 40% profit to the company makes prices non-competitive and sales much more difficult.
