I have been working at Colorado Christian University part-time

    Pros

You can't beat the atmosphere here. By and large, the people are friendly, knowledgeable, and supportive. You have everything you need available to you to do your job. It's also nice that the positions can be work-study. In my experience, the student workers are very valued. I work for the School of Education, and even though student workers are kind of "at the bottom of the heap" authority-wise, we all feel valued and rewarded by our interactions with the faculty and administrators.
Another pro is getting to work right on campus. You don't need a car or hardly any time to get to your job. I often would work for the free hours I had between classes and it worked just fine.

    Cons

Because it is a student worker position, the wages are low. They will barely rise above minimum wage, if at all. Another con could be the type of work. It is a simple job and, once you know the ropes, it can feel like you aren't growing much in the job. However, research projects and planning various events do give it some variety.

    Advice to Management

Thank you for your support, knowledge, and friendship! Being a student worker at CCU was a great experience for me.

I have been working at Colorado Christian University full-time

    Pros

I am in enrollment and the time off is amazing. Overall, the people care about their employees and want them to succeed. If you are a full time employee you will have your masters degree from CCU paid for.

    Cons

You will make very little money, working a lot of additional hours (including nights and weekends), and there is little to no room for advancement.

I have been working at Colorado Christian University full-time

    Pros

After one year of full time employment, employees and their spouses and dependents receive free tuition, paying only books and tech fees for each class.

    Cons

There is a higher than average expectation for impeccable integrity. Employees must maintain positive attitude that contributes to team morale.

    Advice to Management

If you seek a position in management, expect to be held accountable to high measures of performance and to rely on your own initiative for innovation and team motivation.
