I worked at Colosseum Athletics full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Free food. If you're an alcoholic, like being the token black person, married your high school sweet heart, have a lack-luster design taste or like to take credit for work you didn't do, this is the place for you. They hook it up on the holidays with bonuses and prizes. If you are the type of person who wants to do the same job for several years without advancement, no ambition and are good at putting up with people you don't like (and constantly talk trash about) for years this might be your place.

    Cons

A large amount of the employees are unhappy with their job and settle. Not a place for ambition. Managers allowed to get drunk with power, mistreat employees and have personal vendettas. No system set up to report workplace injustices, especially if from a manager. Ageism rampant because of the Korean culture. Very racially segregated. Hispanics in warehouse, Asians in production and accounting, Americans in design and management. Very male dominated. A lot of people working at the company not doing much work and being paid a lot or people doing the bulk of the work and not being paid enough. Several remote employees who got the job from their friend getting over paid while getting other over worked employees to do their job. Huge turnaround on warehouse employees because a job placement company is used, huge mistake. Company tries hard to make it look like a good place on the outside but the inner workings are emotionally exhausting and archetypal of a bad workplace. Very emotional exhausting with all the drama, toxic environment.

    Advice to Management

Stop running an American company like a Korean company. Stop racially segregating. Set up systems for employees to report mistreatment. Give more money to those on the bottom and stop over paying sales reps, paying for unneeded trips and dinners. If you pay those at the bottom fair they stay longer and work harder.

I have been working at Colosseum Athletics full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Paid Vacation after 2 years, dental, medical, vision, and 401K plan.

    Cons

Too much politics, not enough accountability, bad management(bosses who manage upward & not downward) & are verbally abusive(without good cause), when they sing happy birthday it sounds like the North Korean army, worker's needs are listened to but ignored, lots of shady dealings, and the list just goes on and on. Overall, very unorganized, no structure, lots of work with little pay, and people stay for a while, but eventually quit & move on.

    Advice to Management

There's no point in offering advice, b/c they are too prideful to listen or don't want to change anything. As a result, people will keep quitting and the company will never see it's maximum potential. Eventually, they will run out of candidates to hire like BCBG or Forever 21... extremely bad rep.

I worked at Colosseum Athletics full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Other employees are very nice to work with.

    Cons

Terrible managers. Total discrimination. No overtime pay. Other employees in other departments stay until 11pm or later. Extremely high turnover rate. Yearly raise is a disgrace.

    Advice to Management

    Treat your employees with appreciation.

I have been working at Colosseum Athletics full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

With plenty of opportunity to shine and great mentorship from management, this isn't a regular corporate job. Everyone lends a helping hand between departments which ultimately translates to the company's success and superior product quality. Great benefits and competitive salary, with a gorgeous newly renovated corporate HQ and a ping pong table in the back.

    Cons

Far from the popular LA neighborhoods so the commute is a pain and it's located in a really industrial area so you're constantly surrounded by big rigs. Zero vacation days for the first year.

    Advice to Management

Allow employees to start accumulating vacation days after probationary period.

    Pros

Great benefits, nice office. If you work in the right department you get good pay if you don't, good luck to you.

    Cons

Too much politics. Things was starting to look up when they got a HR manager. When she left then it was back to the same thing. New accounting manager is nice until you cross her then she turns and gets you in any way she can.

    Advice to Management

They wouldn't listen anyways. Advise to owner. Watch your people. They can not be trusted as much as you think!

    Pros

It's a great place to work if you're American. Fast growing company in collegiate apparel.

    Cons

Management is not so great. Not a great place to work if you're Asian. Low compensation.

    Advice to Management

Please learn how to manage and keep people and find a real problem of the company, then it will grow a lot more.

I worked at Colosseum Athletics full-time

    Pros

This is a great place to learn how fashion industry works from top to bottom. They offer good pay (even for entry level candidates) and full benefits. And there are multiple opportunities throughout the year to travel to various trade show events around the country.

    Cons

There is a catered lunch available everyday, but it lacks variety. My recommendation would be to mix up the menu a little bit more.

I worked at Colosseum Athletics full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

This company has a nice office. Lunch is supported if you are into Korean food. Benefit is just the average.

    Cons

It is owned by Korean and work-life balance is very poor. Pay is low and it seems to have high employment turnover.
