    I worked at Columbus McKinnon full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

    -There are some nice people who work there, getting fewer and fewer these days. -Benefits are standard compared to other companies.

    Cons

    -Little to no advancement opportunities. -Low pay scale. -Directors show too much favoritism.

    Advice to Management

    -Care more about your employees, otherwise you will keep having a high turnover rate. -Be intelligent enough to know your good employees from your bad ones.

    I have been working at Columbus McKinnon full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    Most employees are hourly so if you put overtime, you get paid for it. Since there's no process for anything, it's hard to mess up!

    Cons

    No process set in place for anything. No strategic plans. All activities are under "throwing spaghetti at the wall". Top management does not plan anything ahead and the result is last minute requests ALL THE TIME. They know about a meeting weeks in advance but don't strategies and the ones at the bottom end up with "this should be quick for you" requests that are due in an hour.

    I wouldn't even know where to begin
